Sangamner – On the occasion of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, various programs were conducted at the main market yard of the Market Committee from August 12, 2022, to August 16, 2022, as per government orders. Accordingly, the office and main gate of the main market yard were illuminated with decorative lights from August 13, 2022, to August 15, 2022. Also, on August 12, 2022, to create awareness about the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' (Tricolor at Every Home) initiative, a rally was organized in the market committee yard by the employees and laborers. They created awareness among all market participants about this government initiative. Furthermore, on August 13, 2022, the flag hoisting ceremony was performed by the Market Committee Secretary, Mr. Satish Gunjal. Following this, a selfie point was set up in the main market yard as part of the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' (75th Anniversary of Indian Independence) celebrations, where all the laborers, farmers, traders, and other market participants enjoyed taking selfies. On August 14, 2022, under the guidance of the Hon. District Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Ahmednagar and the Hon. Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Sangamner, all the market committee employees participated in a rally of cooperative societies. Subsequently, a tree plantation program was conducted in the market committee premises in the presence of Hon. Mr. Kandalkar, Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Sangamner, and Hon. Mr. Wakchaure, Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Sangamner. From August 13, 2022 to August 15, 2022, the employees and laborers participated in a cricket tournament organized by the Hon. Tehsildar's office and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate's office. On August 15, 2022, the flag hoisting ceremony was performed in the main market yard by the Market Committee Secretary, Mr. Satish Gunjal. In this way, the market committee implemented various programs to celebrate the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'. Finally, on August 17, 2022, at 11:00 AM, the national anthem was sung collectively.
